I brought AnnAnn Hsieh home on 25 Oct. 2015. She was one of the strays I fed downstairs my apartment, came to eat my food with her sister JeanJean Hsieh. One day JeanJean appeared with a foot injury, I brought her home for medication, certainly I brought AnnAnn as well. I was so much determined that I would send them back downstairs, so I had them spayed and ear clipped. But my weak mind got better of me, eventually they stayed and became my cats.
When AnnAnn lived downstairs, I could never manage to touch her, even while she was concentrating on eating. Now I just cannot recall how I managed to catch her and bring her home. When they were home, I kept them in a room for quarantine. After a period of time I set them free, allowed them to roam at home. Every night when I got home, AnnAnn always rushed toward the door to greet me (=food). One day she got so excited, or too excited, when she rushed toward the door, she ran all the way pass the door and headed downstairs. I followed her immediately, thinking the worst situation was that I could not get her back. But she used to live downstairs, maybe she would showed up around the spot where I used to feed her. However, I got her and brought her back upstairs. Strangely enough, ever since that episode, she has never rushed to greet me when I get home. I guess she learned that rushing downstairs meant she would be back to her stray life. Since indoor life is better, she chose to stay indoor. As I said I was not able to touch her when she lived downstairs, now she comes and cuddles up beside me. Upstairs and downstairs, AnnAnn has made her decision.
