While hunting a new location for my classroom, I had five conditions in mind: on the first floor, one room as classroom, another room for my cats and me to chill out, one kitchen and one bathroom.
Luckily my new classroom met all these conditions. Though it is a rather old apartment, it is clean and bright. Besides, other than NinShia Night Market, there is quite some good food in the neighborhood. What an extra bonus!
I have been to TwoBites Rice Noodles and LianJou Street noodle stand. TwoBites serves hot rice noodles in winter, iced in summer. I have tried their hot rice noodles and tempura. Rice noodles are not the chewy texture I prefer, but tempura comes with tasty soup, not bad. I look forward to trying their iced rice noodles in April.
LianJou Street noodle stand is a very basic food stand. There are some tables and chairs outdoors, right next to a few parked motorcycles. It is quite funny sitting next to motorcycles eating. The cold noodles look like just any other ordinary noodles, but with the sauce and abundance of garlic, it tastes so wonderful. This food stand closes at 2 pm. I was there at 1 pm today, yet customers just kept coming. The staff is so efficient. I enjoy watching efficient staff working.
