062917 Note - Some notes for Group assessment (Kraft Heinz)何去何從。又到了transition period.
The transition period for moving and future.
Graduate programme 分了幾個階段
1. Cover Letter & Resume
2. Online Testing
3. Video Interview
4. Group assessment @ Melbourne
5. 10 months training
0. Personal Introduction
1. Company Introduction
2. Group activity
3. Case Study -> Presentation
The process began with the personal introduction. Everyone was assigned a random question. Following is the group activity. Each group had four to five members and we had to identify the brands' origins. One observer sit next to your group and evaluated the group behaviour.
I noticed one girl when I entered the meeting room. She has a big smile and looks friendly. For the first part, she shared the stories about her dead puppies even though the topic is the happiness during the journey. She even got tears in her eyes in the end. (Come on!! She is really a good actress.)
In the group activity, after we settled down, she acted like a team leader and tried to lead the discussion. For instance, when we still thought about the brand origin, she suddenly said: "Ok, I think we should start from the bottom part because blah blah blah". But actually, we really didn't need these instructions because we already did it. The reason she said it because she had to be active in the group and the observer can evaluate her with the high mark. In the case study, she still acted like a leader to give instruction. I even got no chance to give my ideas because I spoke English with slow speed.
So if you want to win at the graduate program, please follow the instruction as below:
1. Practice to be a good actor.
2. Practice your English as much as possible until you can shame a local with English. (I didn't mean you have to humiliate a local. I mean your English must be very good!!!)
3. Be assertive and arrogant.
That's it. Good luck!
